77-Day Dominion Challenge
A 77-day discipline challenge built to form stronger habits in Scripture, prayer, worship, movement, and accountability.
“But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians 9:27
About the Challenge
The 77-Day Dominion Challenge is not a casual fitness streak or another self-improvement gimmick with better lighting. It is a focused commitment to bring your spiritual life, mind, and body under faithful stewardship before God.
Each day includes seven standards. They are simple enough to remember, hard enough to require discipline, and meaningful enough to shape the person you are becoming.
What It Entails
Read 5–8 Bible chapters every day.
Begin and end the day in prayer.
Limit music with lyrics to worship music.
Complete two intentional workouts.
Take an intentional walk during the day.
Stay accountable with others in the challenge.
The Science
Research suggests habits often take longer than the famous 21-day myth. Many behaviors average around 66 days to become more automatic.
Doing the same faithful actions daily reduces negotiation and trains your brain to expect the pattern.
Tracking your standards turns discipline into something concrete. Progress you can see is easier to continue.
Biblical Reasoning
1 Corinthians 9:27 gives the challenge its theme: purposeful self-control in service of a higher calling.
Galatians 5:22–23 names self-control as fruit of the Spirit, not a personality trait reserved for impressive people.
Romans 12:2 points to transformation through renewal. Scripture, prayer, and worship reshape attention.
